Protest in Ramallah in solidarity with Palestinian children held in Israeli jails
In this public response to the smear campaign and personal attacks on Richard Horton, The Lancet Editor-in-Chief, Lancet Complaint to Reed Elsevier, we assert:-
Now is not the time for despair among liberal American Jewish supporters of Israel. Neither justice nor the love of Israel can accommodate resignation. Rather, we must respond to the Middle Eastern reality with one important move: urge our own government to recognize Palestine.
Here’s why. Benjamin Netanyahu’s election-eve abandonment of the two-state solution fits in with a well-worn right-wing Zionist belief that the Palestinians must be worn down by a long, hard occupation or defeated in the next major war. But even if such a strategy were just, it would be nearly impossible to pull off. It depends on the complicity of the United Nations, Europe and the United States — not to mention Russia and China. And it is predicated on the notion that the world will not get involved on the Palestinians’ side.
Germany, France, UK, Canada, USA, and South Africa all assisted Israel in its Nuclear Programme in one way or another jut as Germany’s Siemens assisted with Israel’s STUXNET Computer Virus
Germany secretly funded Israel's clandestine nuclear arms program, according to reports in the German media, which contradicting denies made earlier this month by Israel's former President Shimon Peres.
A report in German daily Die Welt claims an agreement was made during a meeting in New York in 1960 between Germany's then-Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and Israel's then-prime minister David Ben-Gurion.
Germany agreed to loan Israel $500m (£330m), officially to help develop the Negev desert but actually to help produce nuclear weapons.
The deal, called "Aktion Geschäftsfreund" ("Operation Business Associate") was not authorised by the governments of either Israel or Germany, according to the report.

"I want to make a special appeal to soldiers, national guardsmen, and policemen: each of you is one of us. The peasants you kill are your own brothers and sisters. When you hear a man telling you to kill, remember God's words, 'thou shalt not kill.' No soldier is obliged to obey a law contrary to the law of God. In the name of God, in the name of our tormented people, I beseech you, I implore you; in the name of God I command you to stop the repression." Archbishop Oscar Romero.
Poison Gas courtesy of Israel and the UK/USA
"We will display a video on the death of tens of children who died after inhaling poisonous gases," an official of Yemen's Red Crescent Society, Abdollah Maboud Al-Shokri, told FNA on Sunday.
He noted that the bomb explosions in the Saudi airstrikes not only destroy a large number of homes, but also create a thick cloud of poisonous and fatal gases.
Yemeni officials had already warned that the bombs that the Saudi regime has used in Sana'a were different from those used in other parts of Yemen.
They said that the bombs were of the very rare and dangerous type that resulted in the suffocation of the residents of the affected regions.
On Friday, eyewitnesses said that Saudi Arabia has used internationally banned weapons in its aerial bombardment on an area near Sana'a.
MAY GOD DAMN THE JUDAIC HOUSE OF SAUD FOR ALLOWING ISRAEL TO HELP HER MURDER ARABS!!
Israel’s fighter jets have taken part in the Thursday Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen, sources in Sanaa disclosed on Friday.
“This is for the first time that the Zionists are conducting a joint operation in coalition with Arabs,” Secretary General of Yemen’s Al-Haq Political Party Hassan Zayd wrote on his facebook page.
He noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had issued direct orders for the Israeli air force to send fighter jets to the Saudi-led air raid on Yemen.
Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes against Yemen and killed, at least, 25 civilians early Thursday, one day after the US-backed Yemeni president fled the country.
Over the better part of the past month, the only entities actively involved in the proxy war in Yemen against the local Houthi rebel force have been air force units, mostly under Saudi command as part of Operation "Decisive Storm." Which probably explains why there has been little if any progress to note in pushing back said rebellion which, armed heavily thanks to the US government, has successfully managed to push the current president into an indefinite exile.
That changed hours ago, when Saudi Arabia's King Salman ordered the Saudi Arabian National Guard, widely regarded as the kingdom's best equipped military ground force, to take part in Riyadh's campaign against Iran-allied Houthi rebels in Yemen.
As Reuters notes, "military operations in the campaign have so far been carried out by the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Royal Saudi Land Forces, which answer to the Defense Ministry. The national guard is a separate military structure run by its own ministry."
One has to wonder just how soon it will be American military boots on the ground in Yemen; were I a betting person, I wouldn't bet against...soon.
When the Saudi appeal first came, it seemed that the dispatch of Pakistani soldiers to the Gulf was imminent: "Any threat to the territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia will be met with a firm response," read a communique from Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
But soon thereafter, Pakistan's foreign ministry issued a denial that any of the country's military was engaged in Yemen, though the Pakistani flag continued to fly alongside that of Arab nations at the Saudi-based headquarters of Yemen operations.
This "now-you-see-it, now-you-don't" game ended only when Pakistan's Parliament voted against the dispatch of troops. Still, the episode shed light on the murky world of Pakistani-Saudi relations, a link which looks destined to shape the security map of the Middle East for years to come.
Riyadh declares end to 'Decisive Storm' phase in Yemen
Saudi Arabia has declared the end of "Decisive Storm" operation against Yemen, and announced the beginning of a new phase dubbed "Operation Restoring Hope," Saudi state TV says.
Saudi Arabia has “ended Operation Decisive Storm based on a request by the Yemeni government” and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, said Saudi government spokesman Brigadier General Ahmed al-Assiri on a televised broadcast on Tuesday.
He added that the Saudi naval blockade on Yemen would stay in place and the Saudi forces would continue targeting the Ansarullah movement's Houthi fighters.
According to a Saudi military statement, the next phase of the operations - which would be aimed at commencing political talks and delivering aid, and a mixture of political, diplomatic and military efforts - will start on Wednesday.
Another statement by the Saudi Defense Ministry said that the Saudi airstrikes has destroyed “heavy weaponry and ballistic missiles which were seized by the Houthi militia and forces allied to (former president) Ali Abduallh Saleh from army bases and camps."
The airstrikes has successfully removed “threats to Saudi Arabia's security and that of neighboring countries," the statement added.
Saudi Arabia started its military aggression against Yemen on March 26 -- without a UN mandate -- in a bid to restore power to Hadi, who is a close ally of Riyadh.
According to reports, about 2,800 people have been killed during the aggression.
You don’t say!! Gosh we would never have guessed it!!!
Spanish author: Wahhabism aims to destroy Islam from inside’
‘……There are documents that indicate the Zionist regime of Israel, as a state sponsor of terrorism, was involved in the assassination of the Iranian nuclear scientists. Why is it that there is no reaction from the international organizations such as the UN?
It is because Iranian scientists and Iranian subjects are not important to them. Although there are many countries in the United Nations, there are a few important countries that are controlled by Zionism and many of the other non-important countries’ votes are conditioned by these few countries. So the fact that many Iranian people including the scientists have been killed is not relevant for the west.
Takfiri terrorism is the result of dogmatic thoughts and retrogressive views of some regimes in the region such as Saudi Arabia. Despite this bitter fact, these regimes are openly supported by the United States. What is your view about this?
Since Wahhabism and Takfirism started a long time ago, they have been progressing all the time, sometimes slowly. After the 80s, when Wahhabism was incorporated not only in Saudi Arabia and Qatar but also in Turkey, in Turkish mosques and educational system, it is much installed. The United States took over from the British. The British were traditional allies of the Saud family and it was in 1944, when the World War II was finishing, the then American president Roosevelt signed a treaty with one of the Saudi kings that included oil against military cooperation. That alliance counts for many years now and in the last 60 years so much money has been moving and that money can help condition and corrupt many western politicians.
The so called Islamic State, on one hand, is the illegitimate child of the extremist views of Salafism and Wahhabism, and on the other hand, the Zionist regime of Israel is considered as one of its significant supporters. In your researches, what did you find about these connections?
Speaking now specifically about Wahhabi jihadism, the definition basically would be: “the fake Islamist ideology of the new world order in order to create confrontations to destroy Islam from inside”. Everybody knows where this ISIS or caliphate or whatever it is called comes from. It has a precedent in Al-Qaida. Al-Qaida as everybody knows is an organization that was formed, created, financed and trained by both Mossad and CIA during the Afghanistan war with the Soviets. There are countries that train all these groups that really work against Islam, and provide them with weapons. Countries like the United States and the United Kingdom. There are other countries like Turkey and Jordan that make their territory available for military trainings. The terrorists can go across their borders.
There are also a couple of other elements that are not so widely known and that refers to some historical or religious aspects. It is known that many Jews converted to Islam in a fake way. In Arab language they are referred to as “Sabatin”. For example I would mention that somebody like Ataturk in Turkey was himself of Sabatin origin who was in very good terms with the British and Zionists in general. I am mentioning this because there is also a very strong suspicion that Wahabism also has those same roots; Zionist and Talmudic roots. The fact is, and that is recognized in some reports by the Iraqi intelligence and even recognized by the American Intelligence, that the Saud family origins from Jews of Basra in Iraq and Mr. Abdolwahhab’s grandfather had been a Jew coming from Turkey. So there is the presumption that these people should be coming from these Sabatin origins.’

Iran accuses the United States of arming and funding ISIS

Yemen is in the eye of the storm. Washington planned and orchestrated ongoing war on an entire population.
Its using Saudi Arabia, other regional rogue states, and extremist takfiri mercenaries to do its killing and dying.
It's systematically destroying an entire nation to tighten its regional chokehold.
In an April interview with PBS Newshour, Secretary of State John Kerry was asked about Iran’s involvement in the escalating war in Yemen. His response was astounding and revealing.
“Iran needs to recognize that the United States is not going to stand by while the region is destabilized or while people engage in overt warfare across lines — international boundaries — in other countries,” Kerry said.
The quip was astounding because Iran is not bombing Yemen or engaged in “overt warfare” there, though it has given some support to one side. The culprit on the overt warfare front is Saudi Arabia.

American MSM Faking Stories Again?
In an article published on Wednesday, Engel said the kidnappers had “put on an elaborate ruse to convince us they were Shiite shabiha militiamen.” According to the Times investigation, NBC knew more than it let on about the kidnappers.

Pope Francis and United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon have united in calls for action after as many as 700 migrants drowned when their boat capsized in the Mediterranean en route to Europe.
The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) and Italy's coastguard said only 28 people had survived the Sunday sinking, which is being described as the deadliest such disaster to date in the Mediterranean.
Reports suggested there had been about 700 people on board the 20-metre fishing boat, officials said.
The problem of migration from Libya springs from the chaos that has filled that country in the wake of the US-led Western invasion of the country – a policy championed first and foremost by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. Clinton pushed regime change in Libya, and pushed it hard. In February 2011, an uprising against then-dictator Muammar Qaddafi broke out; President Obama quickly pushed for sanctions, and the United Nations voted for a no-fly zone above the country. In March, ABC News reported that Obama had signed a presidential finding to send covert aid to the Libyan rebels. In September 2011, Obama called for Qaddafi’s forces to surrender. In October 2011, Hillary visited Tripoli and pledged millions to the Libyan opposition, gushing, “I am proud to stand here on the soil of a free Libya.” Two days later, Qaddafi was sodomized with a knife and then killed; Hillary was caught on camera crowing and laughing, “We came, we saw, he died!”
The European Union may convene an emergency summit on the issues of migration from North Africa to the 28-member bloc already on April 24, a European source said on Monday.
Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and European Council President Donald Tusk have earlier called for holding such a meeting after a disaster on Sunday when a vessel with 700 migrants onboard capsized some 200 kilometers to the south of the Italian island of Lampedusa.
The EU needs to revise several policies to ensure an efficient response to the challenges of the Mediterranean migration and carry out measures to save people in the sea, the source told TASS.
The 28-member bloc could allocate additional funds to organize the maritime and air patrol of the Mediterranean Sea, the source said. "The solution to these issues is far beyond the competence of ministers and may demand a political decision of the heads of states," he explained.
Nigel Farage has blamed “fanatical” David Cameron and Nicolas Sarkozy for the drowning of hundreds of migrants off Italy, saying the exodus was “directly caused” by western intervention in the civil war in Libya.
The Ukip leader said that Nato had destabilised Libya when it launched bombing raids against Col Gaddafi in March 2011, causing the flight of refugees from the country.
He said Britain should offer refugee status to some Libyan Christians.
The US bears some of the blame for this as well.
Haaretz’s managing editor, Aluf Benn, published a series of articles (this is the main one) about an ill-fated Israel-Iran oil venture, the Eilat-Ashkelon Pipeline Company (EAPC), that began in 1968 and ended in 1979, just after the Iranian Revolution. The most criticial part of the project was a pipeline running from Eilat to the major Israeli port of Ashdod. The Shah agreed to ship his oil via the pipeline, thus avoiding the Suez Canal, and then transport it, via tankers jointly owned by the venture, to Europe. Israel received approximately $200-million in oil from Iran before the Shah’s regime collapsed and Iran withdrew from the venture.
Kristol frets that he walked into Obama’s ‘trap,’ and Rubio says he’ll demand Iran recognize ‘Israel’s right to exist’
President Obama appears to have won another round in the high-stakes domestic battle that is the Iran deal. The Bob Corker-Ben Cardin bill that passed Senate Foreign Relations the other day giving Congress the ability to review the deal once it’s cut seemed like a victory for opponents of the deal; but by the end of the weeks neoconservatives were scrambling, because they sensed the legislation doesn’t give opponents much power to stop a deal.
China is looking to succeed where the United States has failed. Beijing — which, as a reminder, has claimed it will not use its regional infrastructure development initiatives as a tool of foreign policy — is now set to facilitate the construction of nearly $50 billion in power plants, roads, and railways in neighboring Pakistan. The proposal, which will give China access to the Indian Ocean via the Gwadar port on the Arabian Sea, is part of President Xi Jinping’s ambitious “Silk Road” Economic Belt, a plan announced last year that aims to connect China with Europe via a series of infrastructure projects.

"Seventeen people have died of the mysterious disease since it broke out early this week in Ode-Irele town," said Ondo state government spokesman Kayode Akinmade.
The disease, symptoms of which include headache, weight loss, blurred vision and loss of consciousness, killed the victims within 24 hours of their falling ill, he said.
Laboratory tests have so far ruled out Ebola or any other virus, Mr Akinmade added.
