Erdogan's Twisted Logic: S-400 Must Not Shoot Down Turkish Jets Over Syria:
President Recep Tayyip Erdogan warned Russia against using its ultra-modern S-400 air defense system to shoot down Turkish fighter jets if they violate Syrian airspace just days after Ankara brought down a Russian Su-24 bomber.

It is all terribly dangerous and it is hard to predict where things will lead.
This outrageous shootdown of a Russian plane that was in no way posing a threat to Turkey or Turkish forces, will not end here, because Russia and President Putin cannot allow Turkey and NATO to so blatantly act against Russia and its pilots and go unpunished, particularly as it is Russia that is acting legally in Syria, while the US, Turkey and other nations backing rebel forces there are in all acting blatant violation of international law.
Unless saner heads start prevailing in Washington, this could all quickly spiral into the kind of situation in 1914, where a lot of ill-conceived treaties led to a minor incident in the Balkans turning inexorably into World War I.
As reported two days ago, one of the first decisions a very angry Russia took in the aftermath of the shooting down of its Su-24 by a Turkish F-16 was to dispatch a Moskva guided-missile cruiser off the coast of Syria to provide air cover for its jets operating near Latakia, as well as send an unknown number of ultramodern S-400 (or SA-21 Growler in NATO designation) SAM batteries to Latakia to make sure that the tragic incident from Tuesday never repeats itself by sending Turkey a very clear message that the next time a Turkish warplane engages a Russian jet, Russia will immediate retaliate using ground forces.
Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told CNN International his country will consider it an act of aggression if Russia takes down a Turkish plane violating Syrian airspace.
Yesterday's threat from Turkey to put the Armenians of Nagorno-Karabakh on their knees came as a sign of agony of the sitting political elite of Ankara... Barack Obama can enjoy all the consequences of Erdogan's stab in Russia's back. This is a lesson that he can learn from Vladimir Putin on how to effectively arrange sanctions against a foreign state without spending millions and millions of dollars on various projects, including Navalny and other NGOs. Obama can see how to prepare the imposition of sanctions, how to foresee results and how to put selective influence on social layers of a single state. Due to the quality of his education, Obama is not likely to understand that all. Today, his main goal is to minimize the appearance of information about Russia's sanctions against Turkey in US media. Afterwards, he will have to do the same in relation to the information about the results of those sanctions.
At this point, is there anyone that still doesn’t know that ISIS is selling hundreds of millions of dollars of stolen oil in Turkey?
As you will see below, this is very much an open secret, but the mainstream media in the United States is being strangely silent about this. Why? Well, because if the truth came out Turkey would have to be kicked out of NATO and Barack Obama would probably be facing impeachment proceedings. He claims to be fighting ISIS, and yet an endless parade of trucks carrying oil that ISIS has stolen goes back and forth over the Turkish border with his full knowledge and approval. Barack Obama is very much aware that Turkey is buying oil from ISIS and he refuses to do anything about it. If the Republicans are looking for a scandal which could completely wreck Obama’s presidency and essentially secure the 2016 election for them, this is it.
Do you want to know why the Turkish government ordered the shooting down of a Russian Su-24 bomber on Tuesday?

Any time there is a war and countless people in one, two or more nations die for some ideological, religious, ethnic, cultural or nationalistic "reason", two entities benefit: those who supply the weapons and those who supply the loans to buy the weapons.
And when it comes to supplying weapons to the world, in both absolute dollar and relative (as a % of GDP) terms, nobody even comes close to that paragon of democratic values, the United States of America.

Technically, Syria has been always at war with Israel, the main cause being the illegal Zionist theft/occupation of the Golan heights. War with Israel took place in the years 1948, 1967, 1973, and now, by fighting its proxies in Syria, the so-called ‘moderate rebels’ including the ‘Free Syrian Army’.
But it is not just Israel stealing Syrian land. Another piece, known as Liwa İskenderun in the North-west of Syria, now part of the Hatay province, was annexed (stolen) by Turkey from Syria in 1938. The Turkish military expelled the native Alawite and Armenian peoples living there and proceeded to import Turkish loyalists.
Turkey, with its NATO membership, downed a Russian jet just two days ago on the 24th of November 2015, while this jet was executing its legal mission in fighting the wild dogs making up ISI, a western and Israeli creation. Turkey claimed that the jet has violated its airspace and characterizing the shootdown as a ‘necessary’ act of ‘self defense’.
The terrorists around and within the borders of Turkey are not a threat her, but the Russian jets are.
The approximate crash location was within Syrian territory, however Turkey is insisting that it was its airspace, how is that?
Turkmen mountain, where the terrorists are based was the target of the Russian jet. This mountain is important from the geopolitical side for Turkey, for if the Russian fighters liberated and controlled it, this means Russia would be able to visually monitor the depth of Turkey’ lands a full 30 km, meaning that any approaching or existing terrorists gangs would be under Russian eyes.
An obvious obstacle for Turkey therefore, given that Turkey is the area from which these wild animals are trained, equipped, fed, and armed prior to their entry into Syria. In addition to this, it is through this route that the oil being sold to Turkey from ISIS travels, a large source of revenue for both Turkey and for Turkish President Erdogan personally.
And it is for this reason therefore that Turkey considers any encroachment by the very effective military operation under the command of Russian President Vladimir Putin to be a ‘territorial violation’.
Russia’s presence in the area destroys the NATO dream of an untouchable ‘buffer zone’ through which the present criminal activities against Syria are made possible, and why therefore it was the obedient lapdog government of Erdogan that shot down these 2 Russian pilots, resulting in the death of one of them. The other Pilot not killed was made the subject of an intense manhunt on the part of the ‘Free Syrian Army’ who had planned on holding the pilot hostage for the purpose of blackmailing Russia and in creating obvious political problems for Putin at home.
Through the grace of God, the Special Forces from the SAA working alongside members of the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah rescued the Russian pilot, as well as the crew of the search and rescue helicopter that was forced to make an emergency landing while searching for him due to being fired upon by the ‘moderate rebels’ that are the badly-behaved children of the West and Israel.
What started out as a disaster was–again by the grace of God and by the heroic efforts of both the SAA, Russia and Hezbollah–mitigated, robbing Erdogan and the West of a clear-cut moral and political victory while at the same time raising the image of Syria, Hezbollah and Russia in the eyes of the world.

IS sells Iraqi and Syrian oil for a very low price to Kurdish and Turkish smuggling networks and mafias, who label it and sell it on as barrels from the Kurdistan Regional Government.
It is then most frequently transported from Turkey to Israel, via knowing or unknowing middlemen, according to al-Araby’s investigation.
The Islamic State group has told al-Araby that it did not intentionally sell oil to Israel, blaming agents along the route to international markets.
