“O People, lend me an attentive ear, for I know not whether after this year, I shall ever be amongst you again. Therefore listen to what I am saying to you very carefully and TAKE THESE WORDS TO THOSE WHO COULD NOT BE PRESENT HERE TODAY.O People, just as you regard this month, this day, this city as Sacred, so regard the life and property of every Muslim as a sacred trust. Return the goods entrusted to you to their rightful owners. Hurt no one so that no one may hurt you. Remember that you will indeed meet your LORD, and that HE will indeed reckon your deeds. ALLAH has forbidden you to take usury (interest), therefore all interest obligation shall henceforth be waived. Your capital, however, is yours to keep. You will neither inflict nor suffer any inequity. Allah has judged that there shall be no interest and that all the interest due to Abbas ibn ‘Abd’al Muttalib (Prophet’s uncle) shall henceforth be waived...

Beware of Satan, for the safety of your religion. He has lost all hope that he will ever be able to lead you astray in big things, so beware of following him in small things.

O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women, but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah’s trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Do treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers. And it is your right that they do not make friends with any one of whom you do not approve, as well as never to be unchaste.

O People, listen to me in earnest, worship ALLAH, say your five daily prayers (Salah), fast during the month of Ramadan, and give your wealth in Zakat. Perform Hajj if you can afford to. All mankind is from Adam and Eve, an Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab nor a non-Arab has any superiority over an Arab; also a white has no superiority over black nor a black has any superiority over white except by piety and good action. Learn that every Muslim is a brother to every Muslim and that the Muslims constitute one brotherhood. Nothing shall be legitimate to a Muslim which belongs to a fellow Muslim unless it was given freely and willingly. Do not, therefore, do injustice to yourselves.

Remember, one day you will appear before ALLAH and answer your deeds. So beware, do not stray from the path of righteousness after I am gone.

Syria: Israeli Jets Bomb Army Facilities Near Damascus Airport

Israel has remained tight-lipped about Syrian reports that Israeli planes attacked Syrian military targets in the Damascus area on Snday.

Official Syrian media reported that Israeli jets had bombed targets near Damascus International Airport and in the town of Dimas, north of Damascus and near the border with Lebanon.

There were no reports of casualties in the reports, but the general command of the Syrian army said in a statement that several facilities had been hit, both at the Damascus International Airport and in the area of Dimas.

One thing you might have noticed of late is that Washington seems to be preparing the US public for the possibility that the Pentagon is going to put “boots on the ground” in Syria and by “boots on the ground,” we mean more than 50 “advisors.”

Indeed, it’s the same story in Iraq and as we noted after the release of helmet cam footage depicting an ISIS prison raid in the northern Iraqi town of Huwija late last month, releasing battlefield GoPro shots is probably i) an effort to convince whatever partners the US has left in the Mid-East that Washington is still effective at “fighting” terror, and ii) a prelude to stepped up ground ops.

Webmaster's Commentary: Translation: it appears that American leadership is hell-bent on a ground war in Syria with Russia, spreading globally, believing that the military-industrial complex will kick-start the American economy.

As I have observed many times while posting, just because something is the most pig-headedly, ham-fisted stupid thing the US government could possibly do, is, unfortunately, no guarantee that it won't do it; logic, and this administration, have not had a really good relationship in a long time, and this rhetoric telegraphs the US government's bloodlust for yet more war.

Those who have been, or will be, deployed to Syria are the sacrificial lambs, led to slaughter, for the purpose of demonizing Russia; and when the first one of them gets killed or wounded, the US government and military will waive the proverbial bloody shirt, and scream "This is all Russia's fault!!", and we're off and running against Russia

But there is a problem here; Russia was invited by the Syrian government to get rid of the terrorists; the US government was not.

So now, we will be technically at war with the Syria government AND the Russian government, simultaneously?!?

And by supporting the Kurds in Syria, are we not ticking off Turkey's Edrogan?

Concerning Iraq, the Iraqi government has not asked for American boots on the ground to aid them against ISIS; in fact, they have turned around planes with US weapons, because government officials know that those weapons are intended for ISIS, and funded and provided by the US government, to again destabilise the government.

And does anyone in government happen to remember the Iranian Shiite cleric, Muqtada Al Sadr, founder of the Mahdi Army in Iraq?!? Just how completely thrilled is this guy going to be with the announcement of yet more US military boots on the ground in Iraq, and just how quickly could he bring the Mahdi Army back together, when that happens?!?

The short answer is, not very long at all.

I would strongly caution all those in Congress, the White House, State Department and Pentagon, against this course of action; and the reason I would do that is that the US military, in this time in its history, doesn't have the money, the manufacturing, or the troop strength to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia. Such a conflict could very well go nuclear.

The unintended consequences of this happening would be both horrific... and irreversible.
