Germany secretly funded Israel's clandestine nuclear arms program, according to reports in the German media, which contradicting denies made earlier this month by Israel's former President Shimon Peres.

A report in German daily Die Welt claims an agreement was made during a meeting in New York in 1960 between Germany's then-Chancellor Konrad Adenauer and Israel's then-prime minister David Ben-Gurion.

Germany agreed to loan Israel $500m (£330m), officially to help develop the Negev desert but actually to help produce nuclear weapons.

Red Crescent: Tens of Yemeni Children Killed by Saudi Poison Gas

"We will display a video on the death of tens of children who died after inhaling poisonous gases," an official of Yemen's Red Crescent Society, Abdollah Maboud Al-Shokri, told FNA on Sunday.

He noted that the bomb explosions in the Saudi airstrikes not only destroy a large number of homes, but also create a thick cloud of poisonous and fatal gases.

Yemeni officials had already warned that the bombs that the Saudi regime has used in Sana'a were different from those used in other parts of Yemen.

They said that the bombs were of the very rare and dangerous type that resulted in the suffocation of the residents of the affected regions.

On Friday, eyewitnesses said that Saudi Arabia has used internationally banned weapons in its aerial bombardment on an area near Sana'a.

Israeli Fighter Jets Join Saudi Arabia in War on Yemen

Israel’s fighter jets have taken part in the Thursday Saudi-led airstrikes on Yemen, sources in Sanaa disclosed on Friday.

“This is for the first time that the Zionists are conducting a joint operation in coalition with Arabs,” Secretary General of Yemen’s Al-Haq Political Party Hassan Zayd wrote on his facebook page.

He noted that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had issued direct orders for the Israeli air force to send fighter jets to the Saudi-led air raid on Yemen.

Saudi Arabia launched airstrikes against Yemen and killed, at least, 25 civilians early Thursday, one day after the US-backed Yemeni president fled the country.

Saudi Arabia Orders Its National Guard To Enter Yemen War

Over the better part of the past month, the only entities actively involved in the proxy war in Yemen against the local Houthi rebel force have been air force units, mostly under Saudi command as part of Operation "Decisive Storm." Which probably explains why there has been little if any progress to note in pushing back said rebellion which, armed heavily thanks to the US government, has successfully managed to push the current president into an indefinite exile.

That changed hours ago, when Saudi Arabia's King Salman ordered the Saudi Arabian National Guard, widely regarded as the kingdom's best equipped military ground force, to take part in Riyadh's campaign against Iran-allied Houthi rebels in Yemen.

As Reuters notes, "military operations in the campaign have so far been carried out by the Royal Saudi Air Force and the Royal Saudi Land Forces, which answer to the Defense Ministry. The national guard is a separate military structure run by its own ministry."

Pakistan faces dilemma as Saudi bills come due

When the Saudi appeal first came, it seemed that the dispatch of Pakistani soldiers to the Gulf was imminent: "Any threat to the territorial integrity of Saudi Arabia will be met with a firm response," read a communique from Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

But soon thereafter, Pakistan's foreign ministry issued a denial that any of the country's military was engaged in Yemen, though the Pakistani flag continued to fly alongside that of Arab nations at the Saudi-based headquarters of Yemen operations.

This "now-you-see-it, now-you-don't" game ended only when Pakistan's Parliament voted against the dispatch of troops. Still, the episode shed light on the murky world of Pakistani-Saudi relations, a link which looks destined to shape the security map of the Middle East for years to come.

Saudi Arabia has declared the end of "Decisive Storm" operation against Yemen, and announced the beginning of a new phase dubbed "Operation Restoring Hope," Saudi state TV says.

Saudi Arabia has “ended Operation Decisive Storm based on a request by the Yemeni government” and fugitive former president Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi, said Saudi government spokesman Brigadier General Ahmed al-Assiri on a televised broadcast on Tuesday.

He added that the Saudi naval blockade on Yemen would stay in place and the Saudi forces would continue targeting the Ansarullah movement's Houthi fighters.

According to a Saudi military statement, the next phase of the operations - which would be aimed at commencing political talks and delivering aid, and a mixture of political, diplomatic and military efforts - will start on Wednesday.

Another statement by the Saudi Defense Ministry said that the Saudi airstrikes has destroyed “heavy weaponry and ballistic missiles which were seized by the Houthi militia and forces allied to (former president) Ali Abduallh Saleh from army bases and camps."

The airstrikes has successfully removed “threats to Saudi Arabia's security and that of neighboring countries," the statement added.

That alliance counts for many years now and in the last 60 years so much money has been moving and that money can help condition and corrupt many western politicians.

The so called Islamic State, on one hand, is the illegitimate child of the extremist views of Salafism and Wahhabism, and on the other hand, the Zionist regime of Israel is considered as one of its significant supporters. In your researches, what did you find about these connections?

Speaking now specifically about Wahhabi jihadism, the definition basically would be: “the fake Islamist ideology of the new world order in order to create confrontations to destroy Islam from inside”. Everybody knows where this ISIS or caliphate or whatever it is called comes from. It has a precedent in Al-Qaida. Al-Qaida as everybody knows is an organization that was formed, created, financed and trained by both Mossad and CIA during the Afghanistan war with the Soviets. There are countries that train all these groups that really work against Islam, and provide them with weapons. Countries like the United States and the United Kingdom. There are other countries like Turkey and Jordan that make their territory available for military trainings. The terrorists can go across their borders.

There are also a couple of other elements that are not so widely known and that refers to some historical or religious aspects. It is known that many Jews converted to Islam in a fake way. In Arab language they are referred to as “Sabatin”. For example I would mention that somebody like Ataturk in Turkey was himself of Sabatin origin who was in very good terms with the British and Zionists in general. I am mentioning this because there is also a very strong suspicion that Wahabism also has those same roots; Zionist and Talmudic roots. The fact is, and that is recognized in some reports by the Iraqi intelligence and even recognized by the American Intelligence, that the Saud family origins from Jews of Basra in Iraq and Mr. Abdolwahhab’s grandfather had been a Jew coming from Turkey. So there is the presumption that these people should be coming from these Sabatin origins.’

Libya migrant boat sinking: Up to 700 feared dead as migrant ship capsizes in waters south of Italy

Pope Francis and United Nations chief Ban Ki-moon have united in calls for action after as many as 700 migrants drowned when their boat capsized in the Mediterranean en route to Europe.

The UN refugee agency (UNHCR) and Italy's coastguard said only 28 people had survived the Sunday sinking, which is being described as the deadliest such disaster to date in the Mediterranean.

Reports suggested there had been about 700 people on board the 20-metre fishing boat, officials said.

The European Union may convene an emergency summit on the issues of migration from North Africa to the 28-member bloc already on April 24, a European source said on Monday.
Italy’s Prime Minister Matteo Renzi and European Council President Donald Tusk have earlier called for holding such a meeting after a disaster on Sunday when a vessel with 700 migrants onboard capsized some 200 kilometers to the south of the Italian island of Lampedusa.
The EU needs to revise several policies to ensure an efficient response to the challenges of the Mediterranean migration and carry out measures to save people in the sea, the source told TASS.
The 28-member bloc could allocate additional funds to organize the maritime and air patrol of the Mediterranean Sea, the source said. "The solution to these issues is far beyond the competence of ministers and may demand a political decision of the heads of states," he explained.

Mysterious disease that kills patients within 24 hours leaves at least 18 dead in Nigeria

"Seventeen people have died of the mysterious disease since it broke out early this week in Ode-Irele town," said Ondo state government spokesman Kayode Akinmade.

The disease, symptoms of which include headache, weight loss, blurred vision and loss of consciousness, killed the victims within 24 hours of their falling ill, he said.

Laboratory tests have so far ruled out Ebola or any other virus, Mr Akinmade added.
